Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) handle rendering images and video. While integrated graphics can manage basic tasks, dedicated GPUs are essential for gaming, video editing, and other graphics-intensive applications. GPUs have their own memory (VRAM), which aids in processing high-resolution textures and complex visual effects.

Other vital hardware components include power supplies, which convert electrical power from an outlet into a usable form for the computer, and cooling systems, which prevent overheating of critical components.

In essence, computer hardware is a complex assembly of parts that work together to deliver computing power and performance. Each component plays a specific role, and understanding their functions helps in making informed decisions when building or upgrading a computer system. Whether for personal use, gaming, or professional tasks, the right combination of hardware ensures that a computer operates efficiently and effectively.
